I obtained my second copy a of a Dev-C platform. When I try to run a program on Dev-C it runs the a previous program instead of the most recent file I had compiled. I have obtained a second copy of the Dev-C platform but it does the same thing. I was wondering is there a file that I need to include or to remove so that it runs the currently file? Sincerely C. Hi, just wanted to tell you I resolved my issue =3DoS. It was indeed a newb= ie=20 thing... I had not selected the "Generate Debbuging info" in the=20 Project/Project Options/Compiler/Linker screen... anyway thank you. Hi Dane, Probably you might have not included=20 using namespace std;=20 in starting of your project after including the header files. I tried and it worked for me. Hello, I think this is a newbie question and it may not be anything but I= =20 cant find information on the web about this (the most I found was that it= =20 may be a bug on gdb). So, I have a simple main.c program on a console application project.=20 It compiles and builds OK,=20 After that I add a breakpoint at some line in the program and run the=20 program, but to my surprise the program runs and do not break on the=20 specified breakpoint... I looked for the debug information and this is what I got (btw I can not=20 COPY from the debug window, why? [using Dev 5 beta 4.9.9.2 <http://4.9.9.2> ]): pre-prompt (gdb) prompt no source file named main.cpp pre-prompt error-begin No source file named main.cpp post-prompt error pre-prompt (gdb) ... So I guess the debbuger is not finding my source file for some reason. FYI = I=20 am using GDB 5.2.1. And my source files are in a directory called "H:\My=20 Documents\Programs\MyFirstSDL"=20 Any clue?? Thank you! --=20 Omar Baqueiro Espinosa Computer Systems Engineer Home: www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~omar/ <http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~omar/> Calendar: calendar.yahoo.com/obaqueiro <http://calendar.yahoo.com/obaqueiro= > PGP Key available at: www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~omar/pgp.html<http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~omar/pgp.html> _____ |

Hi all, I'm trying to make my own installer, but I have a problem. I need to be=20 able to register my own file types and extensions. Can anyone show me a=20 small example of how to create my own registry keys with values in c++? I= =20 tried reading the MSDN documentation, but it wasn't all that helpful. Here's what I need to make (roughly): HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT ----(info) --------(more info) Thanks in advance to anyone who can help! --=20 Jarren L. |
