I forgot to say that it was supposed to output the data in the class variables to file, or at least that is what my book said, and then read them back into the member variables of another class object of that type, but it seems to be doing neither... ===== Julio __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I just tested the solution that Ricardo Lopez Ruiz sent: replace
fflush(stdout) with fflush(sdtin) that finally seems to work fine.
So I suppose that I make a mistake somewhere else in the program. Please
let me know if you find it. Here is the full source:
#include <stdio.h>
main()
{
int i,n,som;
i = 0;
n = 0;
som = 0;
printf("\n==== Somme des n premiers multiples de 3 ====\n\nEntrez la
valeur de n : "); scanf("%d",&n); n=n*3;
while(n>i)
{
i+=3;
som=som+i;
}
printf("La somme est : %d\n",som);
printf("Taper ENTREE pour continuer...");
fflush(stdout);
getchar();
}
-------------------------------------
Well, this is interesting. I can see the problem but I don't know the
solution. If you comment out only the scanf("% d",&n); line, the problem
goes away. It appears that something is being left in the input buffer by
scanf. When getchar() goes looking there a few lines later, it sees
whatever is there and closes the program without waiting for a new entry.
fflush(stdin); before the getchar() clears the input buffer for you but it
doesn't work on my configuration.
By the way, the fflush(stdout); clears the output buffer and is there to
ensure that "Taper ENTREE pour continuer..." is sent to the screen.

why when i try to compile a program with the #import directive I obtain this
error?
undefined or invalid # directive.
How can I import functions stored in a dll?
Im trying to use
this:
#import "c:\Programmi\File Comuni\System\ADO\msado15.dll" \
no_namespace rename("EOF", "EndOfFile").
Please forgive me for bad english, I'm Italian!

Well, I suppose my message was not precise enough.
The problem I encountered was that the Dos windows closed without
waiting me to hit the return key. It did with the 'system("pause")'
instruction.
I just tested the solution that Ricardo Lopez Ruiz sent: replace
fflush(stdout) with fflush(sdtin) that finally seems to work fine.
So I suppose that I make a mistake somewhere else in the program. Please
let me know if you find it. Here is the full source:

som=3Dsom+i;
}
printf("La somme est : %d\n",som);
printf("Taper ENTREE pour continuer...");
fflush(stdout);

You are right. Some other applications leave the extended styles to 0. And it still is an application window. And also, excluding the windows with WS_CHLD and WS_POPUP styles still leaves a lot of windows which I cant really switch to.
You said that there must be another way... There has to be! How does the windows taskbar do this! Ive tried searching the internet but it yielded so many search results that I was too lazy to browse all of them.
THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY! anyone! does anyone know how to get around with this?

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I have spent a few hours
experimenting with this and think that the problem is that most applications
don't set the WS_EX_APPWINDOW
extended style. Look at the Dev C++ template file - the parameter is set to
zero. If you set this parameter in your program code then print a list of
windows with that style, (using the code you have written) your program will
be listed.
Perhaps you could test the other styles and reject windows with the
WS_CHILD and WS_POPUP styles. However, this still leaves quite a few windows
that you can't switch to. Note that testing for the visible style leaves out
windows that are minimised to the task bar.
There must be another way!
Kev.

and WS_EX_APPWINDOW styles and then count them. The output is the number of
windows that met the criteria. As one of you all said... the windows taskbar
only enumerates windows with the afformentioned styles. Take note that the
code is not yet optimized for it is still a test code. Any help on
optimizing the code would be a great help.

happening.your help is appreciated.

printf("\n%u",n+1);
printf("\n%u",*(n+1));
system("PAUSE");
return 0;
} /*QUESTION) while it is apparent that n+1 will give
the address of n[1][0] but how come *(n+1) also
gives the address of n[1][0]
instead of n+1 & *(n+1) u can take n+i & *(n+i)

This solution might be more complicated than what you need but there is a very good graphical library called Allegro. If you follow these instructions you shouldn't have a problem: http://www.allegro.cc/ubb-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=10&t=000083 Here is allegros other "main" page: http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/ Then once you get it working, this place might help: http://www.mindlick.com/programming/tutorials/vivace/vivace.htm It is a good tutorial. bana ----- Original Message ----- From: "http//:angelfire.com/dc/85 Sale's" <bc...@ms...> To: <tux...@au...> Sent: Monday, December 03, 2001 2:27 PM Subject: Re: [Dev-C++] [Dev-C++]Pictures??HELP!! > just displaying a bitmap on the screen. > Thank You > > > >From: "Jason" <tux...@au...> > >To: <dev...@li...> > >Subject: Re: [Dev-C++] [Dev-C++]Pictures??HELP!! > >Date: Sun, 2 Dec 2001 20:48:21 -0600 > > > >What exactly do you mean? When you created the project did you select console? If you select a windows project then you will get the effect that you had described. Graeme. Julio Lajara wrote... > I did include stdlib.h. I recompiled and everything, > but it still had that weird problem... |
