This is probably defeating the purpose too, but you could just use Emacs or some other decent text editor. -- --Scott Simontis-- Len Philpot wrote: >>you need to click on tools, editor options, the general tab, >>uncheck the auto tab and and set the tab size on the left center >>area. I've already done this. The behavior still persists. I don't think it's anything specific to SynEdit (I /think/ DevCPP uses SynEdit, right?). I also use ConTEXT as well as a few other SynEdit-based editors and they don't behave this way. > > len trying going to tools, editor options and then look in the > general tab. I'll may end up just turning autoindent off, but that's a bit like curing dandruff by decapitation... :-) I /want/ auto indent, but I just want it to indent "properly" (according to my definition of properly). Aloha from Honolulu, I would suggest you contact cnet (http://www.cnet.com) they have users groups for different operating systems and people devoted to computers much more so than this users group which is for people using the C/C++ programming language. I've been able to find help with all sorts of problems from DOS, Win 3.1, Win 98, Win 2000 etc. Search for help and you'll find it. Good Luck, Roger THE OMEGA7 wrote: >HI ALL, > >PLEASE I HAVE SOME PROBLEMS NOT ACTUALLY IN C++ BUT IN >TERMS OF FILE TRANSFER AND IN WINDOWS 98 . > >PLEASE CAN SOME ONE TELL ME A PLACE TO VISIT IN ORDER >TO DOWNLAOD WINDOWS 98 SERVICE PACK 2 AND ALSO PLUS >PACK FOR WINDOWS 98? > >ALSO , IS THERE ANY SOFTWARE THAT CAN ALLOW ME TO >ACCESS MY HOME PC FROM A LAN THATS CONNECTED TO THE >INTERNET? > >PLEASE SUCH SOFTWARE SHOULD ALLOW ME TO ACCESS MY HOME >PC FROM A LAN CONNECTED TOTHE INTERNET. > >please it it possible for me to connect to a computer >in a LAN if i know that computers IP number ? > >if yes please tell me the require software and please >, how to do it ? > > >THANKS > >OMEGA7 > > > > > > > >___________________________________________________________ALL-NEW Yahoo! I was looking for information about how to use the parallel port with C and I only got these files but I can not make them work correctly. Ive got more experience in java than in C so if could tell what do I have to change to make this program work Ill apreciate it.
